What is the fee for filing a complaint

You must pay a fee of DKK 800 when submitting your complaint. The fee will be refunded if your complaint is fully or partly sustained.

You have the right to conduct your own case. Please note that, it is not a requirement that the case should be conducted by an accountant or a lawyer, or other experts but if you chose to do so 50% of the cost will be refunded. However such expert costs will be fully refunded if the claim is either fully or largely upheld.

The application for repayment must be sent to the regional tax authorities. An application form is available from the regional tax authority or from the SKAT homepage at www.SKAT.dk.
